我們敬愛的冼大鵬老師於本年三月三日與世長辭。冼家將於本月廿九日(星期日)晚上八時在九龍世界殯儀館舉行追悼會。冼老師畢生致力於教育事業，春風化雨，桃李滿門。謹代表校友會全體仝人向他致最後的敬禮！並向其遺孀及家人獻上深切的問候!

零八年十一月十五日回校參加【元老校友加冕禮】，不知不覺中學畢業已三十年了！想不認「老」也不行！踏入母校，走進操場飯堂，即見到昔日的同窗，我馬上戴上校友會贈的紀念頸巾跟大家拍照留念，聚舊一番。加冕禮後家長教師會主席帶我們參觀校舍新翼，原有的禮堂改建成多層建築物，除了圖書館及特别室外，頂層是一間很寬敞的體育室，同學可進行健身及攀石活動，師弟師妹比我們幸福得多！走着走着，大家不禁談起讀書時的逸事，說來就好像是不久前才發生的事情，中學生活真的令人回味。
晚宴時，除了校友外，還有不少老師出席，他們有的已退休、有的仍在母校執教、有的在其他機構任職，都賞面到來，大家濟濟一堂，同歡暢聚，開開心心的渡過一個晚上，對我來說，這是令人難忘的一天！

Our School Information Day will be held on 29 November (Saturday). All primary school students and parents are welcome to visit our school from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be art workshops, music and dance performances, and science experiments. Briefing sessions about our school will also be held and details are as follows:

為表揚各離校二十五年或以上的校友，母校特定 2008年 11月 15日（星期六）下午4時假座禮堂，為他們舉行校友加冕禮，以表揚他們為社會作出的貢獻；隨于晚上7時正至10時30分在 九龍塘會 (地址:九龍塘窩打老道113A號)，舉行聯歡晚宴及校友會週年大會。節目豐富，餐券每位$250，請即向秘書梁軍訂購，電話是82098999。請各深資校友相約舊同學和親友一起回到母校來，接受加冕。其他屆別的畢業校友，亦歡迎參予當天之盛會。

是次表揚年份的畢業校友如下:
1983、1978、1973、1968、1967、1966、1965 及 1964 年中五畢業之校友。其他年份畢業的校友，母校會按年為他們分批進行加冕。

A new scholarship has been set up to award students who can achieve outstanding results in Chemistry. It may, in future, expand to include students with outstanding achievements in academics or sports. The amount and number of awards will be determined jointly and annually by the Principal of BHJS and Miss Lin.

The scholarship was advocated and contributed initially by 24 graduates of 1974, and is now under the management of BHJS. All alumni are welcome to contribute, regardless amount. Cheques should be drawn in favour of “Bishop Hall Jubilee School” and sent to “2C Oxford Road, Bishop Hall Jubilee School, Kowloon, Attn. Ms Agnes Lin”.  Donors (if they wish to disclose) should write down their name and address and mark “For Ms Lin’s Scholarship” at the back of their cheque.  Receipts will be issued. For enquiry, please contact Alumni’s Secretary Edward Liong Kwan on 9476 1094.

We appeal to all alumni to support this meaningful fund-raising campaign. Please send their contributions to school without hesitation.

A Lunch gathering (2008-09-13) was held with Wong Kwong Wai Sir (which was in HK from Australia) and Miss Ha Wai Chung and some of her classmates in Tong Kung Chinese Restaurant, Metropole HK Hotel, No.75 Waterloo Road.Below is a group photo taken during the gathering.
